International Advisory

Security strategy and diplomacy in service of military innovation
34 years of experience serving the State of Israel and building international defense partnerships.

Brigadier General (Res.) Guy Hazoot

From the Field to the Global Strategic Map

Brigadier General (Res.) Guy Hazoot is one of Israel's most senior and experienced security voices. After 34 years of service that included command in every combat theater-from Lebanon to Gaza-he served as Israel's Defense Attaché to Japan and Singapore, where he negotiated and signed a landmark defense agreement with Japan, among the largest in the country's history.

He brings to every advisory table a rare combination of real operational experience, deep strategic understanding, and an international network built over decades. Alongside his advisory work, he is a Senior Researcher at INSS and author of the bestseller New Guard, No Guard.

What makes Hazoot distinctive is that he is both pen and sword. He wrote the book that foresaw the war and the military's failures-and he was there in the war itself, to fix it, as the Ground Forces' Chief Learning Officer.
